About Mike
I am Mike Graper, an attorney dedicated to representing my client's best interests. I've been practicing law in Alaska since 2001, but I originally hail from Michigan. Over the past twenty years, I've been going back and forth between the two states, but Alaska has captured my heart and feels like my second home.
I went to Michigan State University and graduated with high honors in 1998 with a Bachelor's in Political Science. While there, I volunteered as a landlord/tenant counselor, which gave me some valuable experience in dispute resolution. After that, I studied law at the University of Colorado. While there, I interned at the City of Denver prosecutor's office and was a Rothgerber Teaching Fellow, where I helped first-year law students with their property law studies. I was also part of a moot court team that won the best brief in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition for Trademark Law.
I'm primarily focused on criminal defense work, from misdemeanors to felonies, including DUI/OUI defense and assault. However, I also handle other civil matters like personal injury, family law, business/corporate law, and real estate. I'm excited to use my experience and skills to help you in the future!
